Once I pay for the Courses when are they available? TOP
Once your payment is processed, you will have immediate access to courses, a link to the website with user name and a temporary password will be emailed to you.
Is there homework involved with the Courses? TOP
Courses may have workbook style assignments associated with them, it is critical that you put your new skills to use quickly and the workbook exercises are an excellent way to do so.
Can I stop the Course due to a work related issue or otherwise? TOP
Yes, the Courses are on-demand so you may stop a module at any time and resume your study as long as it's within the time period you purchased.
How long will a Course last? TOP
Courses are comprised of Sessions that are built upon 10 minute Modules. Each Module may have Workbook exercises but the total Course will take approximately 3-6 hours to complete.
Can I get my Money back if I dont like the Course? TOP
Yes, we offer a full refund for the Course as long as the Learner has not completed more than 3 Modules. A refund request must be presented in writing (email acceptable), please include specifics as to why you are requesting a refund.
I don't understand the difference between a Module and Session? TOP
The Modules are the building blocks to each Course; a Session is merely a group of related Modules. In most cases several Sessions make up the Course.
What's the difference between an Affiliate and a Partner? TOP
The Construction Mastery Institute offers the opportunity to earn money by telling others about the Institute, this is typically done via a link that is listed on your website. If a Person or Company accesses and purchases Courses, the Company that featured the link will receive a commission check for the referral. There is not a charge to sign up as an Affiliate, simply click on the tab and fill out the requested information. A Partner on the other hand are those firms that CMI has strategically aligned with to offer valuable products or services for Construction Professionals.
What if my Company does not allow me to use my Credit Card for internet purchases, or purchases over a fixed dollar amount? TOP
No problem, simply select the alternate purchasing method and we will send you an invoice for processing (please provide email address), once we receive your check we will authorize access to the Learning Management System and Courses will be made available.
What does LMS stand for? TOP
LMS is an acronym for Learning Management System; the LMS is the platform that hosts the content for CMI. The LMS is used to keep the content secure and deliver the content to those learners with an internet connection.
Can I use my iPhone or iTouch to take the Courses? TOP
Currently an application is being developed for this purpose. This will be integrated and made available as soon as the technology is debugged and stabilized.
Can I review Modules I've already taken? TOP
Yes, as long as it is within the time frame purchased. In fact you can search by key word and it will sort the content and only feature the slides associated with the key word (s).
What's the difference between the Training Program and the Development Program? TOP
The Training Program is specifically designed for Construction Professionals starting their Career up to 7 years of experience. The Development Program is for those with over 7 years of experience.
Can I Demo a Course before I purchase it and is there a charge? TOP
Yes, we feature a Demo for each Course. The Demo is an actual Module from the Course and there is not a charge for the Demo. Registration with CMI is required, but there is no obligation to purchase.
What is meant by the term eLearning? TOP
eLearning stands for electronic learning. This refers to the fact that the content is delivered in an on-demand (a-synchronous) fashion, attending the Course in a traditional classroom setting is not necessary.

Yes, we have designed the courses for Construction Professionals. This includes Insurance & Bonding Companies, Accounting Firms, Sales Organizations, Advertising Firms, Subcontractors, Developers, Real Estate Brokers, General Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors.
